Google Position

Google Position is important for traffic. It is not hard to get on page one in 30 minutes or less provided you have the knowledge and a few tools.

As there are a number of useful techniques this site will review the most popular methods and keep you updated if you care to complete the opt-in form.

Here is a particularly interesting approach to gaining Google position. It is called content curation. Which is billed by some as the current state of the art for Google position. The following is an excerpt from Paul Clifford at PageOneCurator

"Every morning spend 10 minutes to Review your Google Reader list. (which you have already set up and selected what feeds you are interested in)
If a headline looks interesting, read the story.

If you think your audience will find it useful, select the most important part of the story (no more than 40%) and paste it into your curator application, whichever you are using.

Please remember to always credit the source and respect the work of the original author. Some curator software makes this real easy, for example PageOneCurator.
Now add an interesting introduction to the story.
Where possible, insert an image or video to add interest to your post.
To finish off, add a comment of your own in the form of an opinion, analysis or entertainment value.
Now post your curated story to your blog, and social media accounts...."

Total time: 10 minutes, tops.

...Not having heard of this previously I found it to be a very novel approach to getting a good Google position and I intend to give it a shot.go . If you want more details then visit PageOneCurator yourself
